Comparing: Little Women novel to 2019, 1994 movies and 2018 TV series

Hey Blog fans! My most recent post, you will see, is a Little Women book review. I just wanted to compare the Little Women novel from the Gillian Armstrong's 1994 Little Women movie, Greta Gerwig's 2019 Little Women movie, and Vanessa Caswill's 2018 Little Women series. Let me just say that before you read this Blog post, you might want to read my Little Women book review Blog post, if you haven't already yet. And note that this is all my opinion, so read the book and watch these movies for yourself to form yours! I have watched all of these movies multiple times with friends and love all of them.

First off, I would say that the movie that didn't follow the storyline the most was probably the 2019 Little Women movie. Only because it went back-and-forth from past to future, so was hard to follow were you are in the storyline. But in the book, its not like that, so I think the director was trying to be artistic and they did a good job! I just prefer the others more. I would say my favorite is between the 1994 movie or the 2018 TV series. I liked the 1994 movie because it follows the storyline really well, and I liked how Meg, Jo, Laurie and Marmee, were pretty much exactly how I had pictured them in the book. But I liked how in the 2018 TV series, Laurie, Beth and Amy were also how I pictured them in the book, it followed the storyline well and because they broke it up into episodes, so you didn't have to watch the whole story in one sitting. So,my favorite Little Women film, I would say, that follows the storyline the most, is the 1994 Gillian Armstrong's Little Women.
