A Christmas Carol novel to 1984 A Christmas Carol movie
Hello! Note: before you read this Blog post, I would recommend that you read my last post, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens book review. Today we will be comparing A Christmas Carol novel to the 1984 A Christmas Carol movie. So, first off let me just say that A Christmas Carol novel is one of my all time favorite books. We quote the book and movie all the time, —Christmas season or not—and read it every year around Christmas time. The movie follows the book very well, and it portrays the character very well. One thing I would change is maybe a different actor for Scrooge, just because he looked more in his late sixties, but in the book it portrays him more as in his late seventies. That’s really the only thing, and that’s just me being very skeptical, because that’s really the only thing I would change! I think that Clive Donner did an excellent job.
